Confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha method were used to examine the validity and reliability of the questionnaire using SPSS and AMOS software.
Findings: The results of data analysis showed that the Quality of Life Questionnaire for Patients with Bipolar Disorder has appropriate construct validity and the questionnaire has an appropriate factor structure in Iranian society. Also, the results of the correlation coefficient for examining the convergent validity of the questionnaire with the quality of life questionnaire were positive and significant, which indicates that the questionnaire has appropriate convergent validity. Cronbach's alpha method was used to examine the internal consistency of the questionnaire. The reliability value obtained for the entire questionnaire was 0.96 and for the dimensions of the questionnaire was in the range of 0.86 to 0.95, which indicates that the quality of life questionnaire for patients with bipolar disorder has appropriate reliability.
