These problems just like any other serious physical disease can disturb the quality of life of the affected patients. In the treatment approach to the acne, enough attention should be payed to the psychological aspects of the disease. Without pointing out to this view the treatment failure and non compliance rate will be so common. There is not any exact relationship between acne severity and psychological side effects. Even mild acne can induce a major depressive situation or sever anxiety in patients with hypersensitivity to their general appearance   .
