Aim and Background: Teachers' emotional exhaustion can have a negative impact on teachers' performance, therefore, identifying the factors affecting teachers' emotional exhaustion seems necessary. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to investigate the causal relationship between school atmosphere and teachers' emotional exhaustion with the mediating role of job involvement and Emotional Labor.
Methods and Materials: The present study method was descriptive-correlational and structural equation modeling studies. The statistical population included all teachers in the city of Romeshkan who taught in this city in 1403-1404, from which 340 people were selected using the available sampling method and completed the research questionnaire. Structural equation modeling and Amos and SPSS software were used to analyze the data at a significance level of 0.05.
Findings: The research findings showed that the research model has a good fit. The variables of school climate (β=-0.337), job involvement (β=-0.234) and job affect (β=-0.350) had a direct causal effect on teachers' emotional exhaustion (p<0.05), on the other hand, job involvement and job affect variables had a significant mediating effect in the relationship between school atmosphere and teachers' emotional exhaustion.
Conclusions: From the findings of the present study, it can be concluded that school climate directly plays an important role in explaining teachers' emotional exhaustion, and part of the effect of school atmosphere on teachers' emotional exhaustion is indirectly exerted through job involvement and Emotional Labor variables
